YWAM affirms the importance of the local
church, and seeks to promote unity among all God’s people. Therefore, through the Church Ministry, we endeavour to develop and work in partnerships with
other believers. Our focus is reconciliation among the
Body of Christ for the fulfilment of the Great Commission. Church ministry works alongside churches interdenominational
without discrimination and we respect every
doctrine of each church. (Eph 3:8-10,
Php 1:3-5, 1 Ths 1:2-10, Mat 28:19-20).
Vision:
Our vision is to come
alongside local churches and the community to strengthen and empower the
Church: to make God known through evangelism, training and mercy
ministries. Our vision is also to be
able to share the Gospel and spread the Church into new, unreached areas
(primarily Tali, Terekeka, and Offirika).
Goal:
Our goal is to seek Church
growth, unity within the Body of Christ, create mission awareness, and reach out
to unreached people groups (including the Mundari in Tali and Terekeka).

Purpose:
We are living in a world that has fallen. We are seeking to bring human beings back to
the original plan that God has planned for them. They have lost the direction, so we are
trying to reconcile their relationship with God, and point them in the
direction that God intended and planned for them to be.
Conclusion:
The Church ministry exists to equip the Body of Christ as
well as share the message of Jesus Christ to the world around us. As a base we are working together to achieve
this goal, equipping and building each other up, so that we can use the
abilities and gifts that God has equipped each of us with. The planned activities are the starting point
in order to live out God’s calling on our lives to be His ambassadors in this
world. It is the hope that each ministry
will start relationships and conversations that will glorify God as well as
bring the message of Jesus Christ to every aspect of our lives.
